Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

New Life Tax Consultants ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, how it is used, and the rights you have over it.

Who we are

New Life Tax Consultants, 35 Fricker Road, Illovo, Sandton, 2196, is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website. Our Information Officer contact point for privacy matters is Thabo Sibanyoni, reachable at info@taxcons.co.za or 067 709 5181.

Information we collect

When you submit our contact form, consultation funnel, or newsletter signup, we collect details such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, and information about your accounting, tax and payroll needs. If you book a consultation via our calendar link, Google collects the scheduling information you provide directly, under Google's own privacy terms.

Why we collect it and our lawful basis

We process this information to respond to your enquiry, recommend an appropriate service package, and — where you go on to engage us — to deliver accounting, tax and payroll services to your business. This is done on the basis of your consent in submitting a form, and, once you become a client, on the basis of the contract between us and our legal obligations as an accounting practice.

How your information is handled

Form submissions on this website are transmitted via Web3Forms, a third-party form-processing service, and delivered to our inbox at info@taxcons.co.za. Web3Forms acts as an operator processing this data on our behalf for the sole purpose of delivering your submission to us. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with any other third party except where necessary to deliver our services (for example, submissions to SARS on your behalf, once engaged) or where required by law.

This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies/tracking. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

Retention

Enquiry information from our contact and consultation forms is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and follow up. If you become a client, your records are retained for the periods required by SARS and other applicable statutory record-keeping obligations.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, unauthorised access, and disclosure.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to be told what information we hold about you, to request access to it, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to our processing of it on reasonable grounds. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@taxcons.co.za. If you believe we have not handled your personal information properly, you may lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator (details below).
